Since rejoining the kids programs at our church a couple of weeks ago, my kiddos have been working hard to catch up with the other kids. In the Olympian program, the kids have a few things they need to do, to progress through the different levels; bronze, silver, and gold. Each level has specific Bible verses to memorize, one book report to do, and a handful of Christian services to perform. I know I am biased, but I would say the my kiddos are catching up pretty quickly. I haven’t had the time this year to help them out as much, but they were both doing a great job on their verses. Until they got to 2 Timothy 3:16. Oh, you don’t have that one committed to memory? Well, it’s a dusey as far as confusing verses go!
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is usefull for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.”
2 Timothy 3:16
Yeah, all those words, which to a child are so similar in meaning… wanna see how I helped? check it out over at Tricks of the Trade.
I haven’t looked at your trick yet, but Owen just had to say this verse plus 17 last night at AWANA.
Good night! Was he finishing up a section or something?
No he was actually just starting one.
