Here’s a little glimpse into my life over the past few months.
Christmas was a wonderful, full time spent with friends and family, celebrating our precious Savior’s birth.
Followed quickly by tax time. Which always stresses me out, mostly because I want to be sure I’m following all the rules, and save us as much money as possible. I did discover, however, that after a year of preparing the way our new accountant wanted it was MUCH easier than last year.
Then, we discovered a wet wall and mold in our bedroom. Joy!
We finally got a new shed, yeah!!! That has made our home organization 100 times better. It also made Bubba SUPER happy.
I volunteered a total of 8 days out at Flywheelers. I was SO cold.
Then, Fair season was upon us. We kept busy with projects, record books, trees, and animals.
Hearts were broken and mended.
Oh and back in January I decided I had too much idle brain time, so I formed a group of ladies that are purposing to memorize the book of Titus. Yes, the BOOK.
In February, Mr. OverKill surprised me with a trip to Savannah.
We celebrated 17 years of hanging in there, and trying our best to love each other.
We had a great time! Savannah is fun, and I look forward to going back someday.
Flywheelers, again. Bubba took his lawnmower turned bike. He calls it his “Mow-Ped.” Punny, right?
Spacers for braces for the soon to be teenager.
Shug started lessons with a new teacher, who is fabulous! She is really enjoying the lessons and his teaching style. Her sound is improving and she is being challenged.
We toured the local job fair,
and we actually did some school during all this craziness.
There may or may not have been tears.
I finally got around to repurposing my bathroom medicine cabinet, which was a giant waste of space. I am loving how organized all my jewelry is now.
The last 3 months have left me feeling like this on most evenings. Even though I am exhausted and my home is not up to Martha Stewart’s standards there is a contentedness in my heart.
And last night, I actually had 5 minutes where I was caught up and had nothing pressing to tend to.
5 minutes!!!
