Last weekend I was so sad as I looked through all the Sunday ads for beautiful Easter dresses. I knew that there was no way I was going to be able to buy new dresses for the girls right now. I was sad…but I prayed about it, and left it in God’s hands.
On Tuesday I had this thought pop into my head, that I should go check out our favorite thrift store. So, we did. I was very bummed when I didn’t find any dresses in the girls section. We went on through the store and checked out the craft department, when this cute pink polka dot fabric caught my eye. I picked up and lo and behold it was 2 girls dresses, already cut out of a very cute satin fabric. One was the right size for Tootle Bug and the other, with some tweeking, worked for Sugar Belle. It was definitely a challenge to get them finished by Sunday, with everything else we had going on, but I did!
I thought they came out very pretty and the total cost was $5.00!!!
I LOVE it!
