This year, Tootle Bug asked for a giant water slide for her birthday party. Yeah, not in the budget. So, we did the next best thing and made a giant slip N slide. Sadly as the time for the party approached, so did the storm clouds. So, I prayed and asked the Lord to either send the clouds around us, or let it pour quickly and get it all out. He chose the later, which was fine with me, except that some of our decorations got ruined. Oh well, such is life in Florida.
Soon, the rain cleared and the kids hit the pool and slip N slide.
Silly Tootle Bug.
The slip N slide was a BIG hit, especially with the tubes.
Whirlpool!
We tried to get Tootle’s Uncle RW out on the slip N Slide…no dice.
(Have I mentioned that he is getting married in December? :)
This little thing, what a cutie! She was totally fascinated by the snails that flocked to the back porch after the rain.
These two are good friends. They are the same age, and have the same name…first and middle. What a hoot!
After dinner, the kiddos got to have a water balloon fight. Can you see all the adults watching through the kitchen windows?
For some reason, all the kids took off after Bubba. I wonder what he did to them….
He looks wore out.
Oh, the cutie pie again!!! She also loved the water balloons. She carried one around like a baby for quite a while.
Cake!
Then, it was time for gifts.
And here it is, the dress I woke up early and stayed up late to make in secret.
Happy Birthday Tootle Bug!!!!
