Over the last few weeks I have been feeling as if there isn’t quite enough to go around. Not enough money, not enough time, not enough of me. It’s exhausting! You know why? Because it makes me feel like I am not doing a good enough job. Small things tend to get magnified to the point that they feel like insurmountable obstacles. Things that wouldn’t typically ruffle my feathers can push me to the point of tears!
So, today I just circled the wagons and just tried to take things down a notch.
As I thought about it this evening, I was so glad to remember that there is enough of God to go around.
1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is your keeper;
The LORD is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.-Psalm 121
Amen! Such an encouraging word.
Thank you and blessings sister!
Love,
Rebecca
