Thursday night Mr. OverKill’s parents invited us over for dinner. After we ate we were sitting around outside while the kiddos swam. Tootle Bug came up to ask us something, and somehow the topic of her nickname came up. My mother-in-law asked Mr. OK and I why we call her “Tude.” Somehow, she had never heard the whole story.
When Tootle was just a baby, you could tell she was going to be a handful. This child reeked of attitude at just 6 months old. We would tease about it, and somehow the nickname “Tude” stuck. As she got a little older and started walking she looked like she was “tootling.” So “Tootle Bug” is her nickname when she is being cute, and “Tude” is her nickname when she is….having an attitude. I have to say, though, the attitude isn’t nearly as bad as it was, especially if you don’t let her get hungry. :)
Today was a special day for Tootle Bug. She had her first trip to get a haircut at a real salon. Her hair has always been uber curly, and a tad difficult to manage. Even more so now, as her hair is longer, and she insists on styling it herself most of the time. She is coming out of a “I want straight hair” phase, so I decided to capitalize on it and take her to a professional to get a good cut for curly hair.
So check out a before pic. This was taken on Easter Sunday, after being at church and whatnot….slightly frizzy.
All I have to say is, WOW! She looks fabulous!
Look, no frizz, a few hours after having it styled.
The style will be very easy for her to maintain, with the great product the stylist recommended.
It doesn’t leave her hair dry, stiff, or crackly, just uber soft.
The best part is, she is very excited and is taking the stylists recommendations very seriously.
Mission accomplished!
:)
what is the name of the product….Jordan would probably LOVE it!
Sorry it took so long for me to reply. The product I referred to is called Framesi Biogenol Snapp Curl Rejuvenator.
