Last Friday we were doing chores, and I heard Tootle Bug mumble something about the microwave smelling bad. I didn’t think a whole lot about it, it’s her job to clean the microwave and it probably did smell bad after not being cleaned for 3 weeks. Kids were coming and going, so I really didn’t pay any attention to the fact that Tootle had gone outside. She came back in and sat down to get ready to clean the microwave. When I came into the kitchen, this is what I found.
What a hoot! And she kept it on!
I will say in her defense, she does have a very strong sense of smell.
What Mom? Why are taking pictures of me? I’m just cleaning the microwave?
About 3 years ago, while visiting a friend in Birmingham, we went to the zoo. Most kids like the zoo, for Tootle Bug, it was torture. Many of the exhibits were indoor because of the weather, and the smell was killing her. See???
Bless her heart, she was miserable.
Even the outdoor exhibits were getting to her.
But, you know what, a strong sense of smell can come in handy, she’s the first one I call if something smells fishy :)
This one made me laugh hard! This is how Bo is in our family. Soooo sensitive to smells! He’ll chirp and complain about something smelly, that none of us will recognize in the air for a while. weird. :-)
