Wow! We are having the best weather right now, dry and cool. We had our first “cold front” come through Saturday night. Let me just say, that I realize those of you who do not live in Florida are laughing at me using the term “cold front” to describe weather that hovers around a dry 85 degrees, and only drops to about 62. But hey, for us, it’s a cold front! The kiddos got up Sunday morning, and you would have thought it was 30 degrees out side. “I need a jacket!” was heard at least 4 times!
There are some serious advantages to a cold front in Florida. The biggest one being that the kiddos are all about playing outside, now that the threat of their flesh pealing off in the scorching summer sun is over.
Let’s play the If / Then game for a moment, shall we?
If they are are outside, then my house stays cleaner.
If they wear themselves out, then we all sleep better!
If they are outside, then there are less arguments, less fights, and less “mom, I’m bored”!!!!
If Little Man stands here much longer, then he’s going to be on the ground again!
(Thanks for the help on that one Bubba! Can I count that for school???)
If they break an appendage , then we will be broke.
