First and foremost I stand corrected. My dear, sweat friend who collects mason jars does, let me repeat that, does know how to can. She “just doesn’t have the time.” I am still puzzled though as to why she didn’t know what these were……
Second, why is it that the majority of people who heard that we went to a “marriage conference” assume that we are on the brink of divorce. While we were gone Friday, Hubby’s brother was holding down the fort at our shop. The standard, “Where’s the boss?” was asked several times, each time he replied “He took his wife to a marriage conference”. To which they replied “Oooohhh, are they having trouble?” So, not that ANY of Hubby’s clients read my blog, but for my peace of mind, I will say……we are VERY happily married!!!
Third, I want to say that for those of you in cyber-space that are having a hard time in your marriage, it truly breaks my heart to see couples hurting and their marriages suffering. We have had our hard times. We have struggled and I am sure that in the future we will have more struggles. But we have chosen to lean on God and claim His design for marriage as our master plan. In all seriousness, I whole heartedly recommend attending a Weekend to Remember marriage conference. Whether you are having trouble in your marriage, or just need to reconnect, it is a weekend well spent.
Fourth, I decided I did not like my camera and returned it today. So, I am now on the camera hunt again. I am looking at the less-expensive of the Canon Rebels.
Now, I am off to help Hubby finish laying the floor in our bedroom. We are SSSSOOO close to finishing, I can almost taste it!! Oh and I found the most fabulous towels and bedding for our new room. They are a great match for the theme we have going on with the artwork.-
And now for some pillow talk…..
Tee Hee….. Love ya’ll!
