Nearly 2 years ago, my lovely hosting service changes some settings on my blog, and lost quite a bit of it. One of the posts that was lost was about a technique that I found very helpful. And, since Little Man has given a new twist to the technique I thought I would share it again.
A school year or two ago I had just purchased new 3 ring binders for the kiddos to keep all their school papers organized in. Can I just say how much I hate paying full price for those things? They are pricey! So, you can imagine my dismay when I discovered that Little Man had been using his as a lap desk of sorts on a project that he was using a Sharpie on.
Sigh….
And that’s the result. Then, one day Mr. OverKill’s aunt was over visiting and she mentioned how her boys would do things like that. Then, she said, but I just cleaned it off with a dry erase marker.
Wait. What????
True story. Use the dry erase marker to color all over the permanent marker.
Then wipe it away.
No kidding!
It worked like a charm. We used that trick for several years successfully on all manner of things.
A year or so after we learned this little trick, Little Man, “some how” got permanent marker on his forehead.
Really son?
Then I found him in the bathroom with a dry erase marker…..
What do you know, it works on skin too!
There you have it.
