So…it’s going. I’m still not loving my hair. And here’s the kicker, I have an appointment for a cut/trim tomorrow. Choices, choices!
Anywho, thought I would share a couple more pics and strategies that I have tried over the last 2 weeks.
This day, I think my hair turned out pretty nice. This pic was actually taken in the afternoon, and I had styled my hair earlier that morning. I used Bed Head Small Talk and some hair spray. I blow dried my hair and set it in rollers. Then, simply finger combed it.
As I have been looking for something to help with the frizz, I came across numerous recommendations for this Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment. But, I thought the price was a bit steep. In looking for less expensive alternative, I heard about Garnier’s Sleek and Shine Moroccan Oil Treatment. Much better price, but I couldn’t put my hand right on it in our small town.
So, last weekend Mr. OverKill and I went out of town and I found it at Target. Score! When I first applied it, I was not impressed. It did not make brushing my tangled locks any easier. However, once I dried my hair, I fell in love with this product.
This is simply blow dried. No straight iron at all!
Isn’t my hair funny, straight as a board until that little flip at the end. It’s the weight. My hair is quite curly when it is shorter.
So there you have it. Now to decide to keep it long, or chop it off….or perhaps somewhere in between. But then, I think about all those little kids who need me to donate my hair to Locks of Love. Of course, by the looks of things they may only end up with half of my hair, once the cull the grey out. What 8 year old wants grey hair?????

Oh, and have a Happy Valentine’s Day!
