Yesterday was a very, very….dare I say very happy day. Yesterday, we wrapped up our school year.
Insert Happy Homeschool Mama dance here ;)
The first thing he kids did? They started building a fort.
The day was only made happier by the fact that long sleeves and jackets were required :)
We have been super busy, and feeling somewhat chaotic since Gram passed, so we are all extremely relieved to have the burden of school lifted from our shoulders.
One of the things that has been keeping me busy is a photography class. I have to take classes every four years in order to keep my teaching certificate up to date. Here are a few of my favorite shots from my photography class so far.
Love Little Man in this one….
I do believe the smoke is my favorite capture so far this semester.
Of course now that our homeschool is wrapped up, I have a very long list of things I would like to do around the house, new recipes I want to try, and perhaps even a hefty dose of fun!
I also have a few ideas for the blog that I hope to initiate over our break. (Woo hoo for break!) I am going to begin a series of posts called “A letter to…” As I mentioned last week I was reminded of why I am keeping this journal of our life. There are things that I want to say to my kids, their friends, even my future self that I am pretty sure I may not remember as time passes. So, I’ve decided to start writing letters to all of us.
Yes, life is busy, but I hope that the things we are busy with will bring God glory.
