This was the first year that we hosted a big Easter Sunday at our place, and I wanted it to be special.
Of course any time that The Frazzled Mama wants something to be special there are always…obstacles. We won’t name them, but we could if we wanted to ;)
Anywho, I thought about how I could make the table look special using things I had on hand, that I could borrow, or were very frugal.
The result?
My Grandma’s china and Mr. OverKill’s Grandma’s crystal…
My folded napkin bunnies…
A few borrowed candlesticks, rye grass, and dyed eggs.
I was pleased with the results.
Very nice!! I like the napkins and the grass and the dishes and….I like it all!! Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks! I always envision a Martha Stewart type table, this was the best I could do to match Martha.
I just wanted to say thank you for posting the tip to “grow” your own centerpieces. I followed your instructions and they turned out beautifully!!! We tucked the left over rye grass seed in a plastic bag and are storing it in the freezer til next spring.
Yeah! Glad it worked out for you!
