I had to crack up this evening while on date night with Mr. OverKill. I was telling him about the kiddos and their antics of the day. I really needed to laugh, because today was a hard day.
I often wonder what people think when they see me and my motley crew of kiddos coming their way. Little Man has taken to wearing these…everywhere.
Add to that, Bubba started a new session of Bubba camp today, and he was determined to have t-shirts this year. He came up with a really cool design while I was attempting to take a nap. (Yeah right!) I mumbled something to him about waiting to make the shirts so we could pick up craft t-shirts later.
However, my son is not a patient man – yet. He decided to get the kiddos to offer up their VBS shirts from this year. He turned them inside out and drew the design on them in permanent marker.
In his haste he made 2 spelling errors. So, we had a t-shirt that claimed “He dide for you.” and “Bubu camp.” Now, I am not telling you this to make fun of Bubba. I am telling you this so that you can get a mental picture of how we might look the next time we go out in public.
Four kids, with t-shirts on inside-out, drawn all over with marker and misspelled words, and one with a pair of ophthalmologist issued gigantic sunglasses.
Oh, and me!
