I love it! We didn’t quite get everything done today that I had hoped (still need to take care of the big fish tank). But for the most part, we are back on track – yeah! Just the smallest bit of progress gives me hope. Plus, I did some ridding out of school books I know we won’t be using…now, I just have to find somewhere to keep them until our Homeschool Co-op Book sale…hmm…
Ok, so here is the school table before….
And after…
I still need to pick up a new clear tablecloth for it. I couldn’t believe how much paint and glue we got on the old one! But that’s what it’s there for, to protect the table from the paint and glue.
Ok, the bookshelf before….
and after…. aaahhhh!!!!!
Much better, no? You can also see that the coloring paper has been taken care of as well.
I ended up made some adjustments to my school shelf by my desk, which helped the bookshelf be more organized…
The display area still needs a few new things put up, like the new chore lists for the year, but it is cleaner….before…
and after…..
I am excited about the new pencil pouches though…
My Mom and Dad gave these to the kiddos for Christmas. They had already stocked them with colored pencils, regular pencils and erasers. They had Skittles in there too, but those are long gone. So, I added a pair of scissors to each pouch and hung them on the bulletin board. I am hoping to encourage responsibility and care for their personal belongings. Plus, they were really excited about having their own scissors that they don’t have to share with anyone. Soon, they will learn the downside of that….if they loose theirs, no one else has to share. This will be interesting :)
