I’m sure you are all very familiar with that phrase coined by homemaker extraordinaire, Martha Stewart. She would go on and on about some fancy expensive gadget, and then say “It’s a good thing.” Well, today I am enjoying a “good thing”. Not any where near Martha’s idea. I am listening to the sounds of 10 children eating together on my living room floor. Trust me, it’s a good thing.
I have been truly blessed this Christmas season with opportunities to serve others and give them gifts of presence, rather than presents. (Although, I may have done some of those too:)
