I just finished reading this book, and can I tell you….I wanted to write this post after reading just the first ten pages!!! What a blessing this author has been to me!!!!!
I heard about this book a year or more ago. I wrote down the title thinking that it was a book to help you have “the talk” with your daughter. The post-it note is still on my bulletin board….what, you don’t believe me?
I rest my case.
Anywho, this book is AMAZING!!! Please don’t wait to read it until you are ready to have “the talk” with your daughter. It’s really not that kind of book. It has more to do with encouraging your daughter to godliness, purity, and positive thought patterns for her life.
I have to say, it was good for me to read and encouraged me with some of the things I struggle with in my life, regarding self-image.
One feature that I especially liked was that she gave some guidelines to help you with each conversation, depending on the age of your daughter. You can see how the conversations build depth as your daughter grows.
If you would like more information, you can visit her blog at http://5conversations2.blogspot.com/. She also has links there if you would like to purchase the book.
Happy Reading!
