We had the most wonderful time at Ft. Desoto Park this weekend. I was planning to post about it yesterday. Unfortunatly, vacation took it’s vengeance. Am I the only person on whom vacation takes it’s vengeance? It’s like, we go away and have a wonderful time, and then the first full day we are home, reality slaps me in the face!
How did vacation take it’s vengeance, oh just a little identity theft and fraud. Uuuhuu. Yep, a lovely dose of reality. We were working on it all afternoon yesterday and well into the night. I think we have things straightened out, and we were able to freeze our banking, etc. before anything was done there. Stupid stuff goin’ on out there ya’ll. Apparently a Sprint employee got into our account, stole one of our phone lines, was using it personally and hijacked our account by changing all the pass codes and security questions. What’s that? What is Sprint going to do about it? Oh, NOTHING! They said there was no fraud involved. Talk about taking care of your own! Let me tell you if this guy has racked up a huge bill (and I imagine he has, you know calling home to India or something) I am NOT paying it. I have told them several times that I will not paying charges on that phone for that time period, and they are like, whatever. Never said, “Of course not ma’am, you wouldn’t be liable for that”. No it’s more like, “Yeah, that’s what you think!”.
Back to life, back to reality, back to the here and now!
