So, you all know I have been exercising….yes???
Well, the first time or two that I did the strength training routine, I didn’t use weights. They recommended to try it a time or two without the weights, to get the correct posture, etc. so that you didn’t end up injuring your back.
Well, I decided that I was ready to add the weights….the only problem was that I couldn’t find my hand weights. I had two sets, a 3 pound set and a 5 pound set. Guess what? I ended up finding 2….of course, living in Frazzled Mama Land, guess what I found…..
one of each.
I’m telling you this stuff only happens to me! And of course, having 4 children, I really didn’t want to make a special trip to Wally World to buy a weight. So, I improvised. I used the two weights I had and just switched halfway through the reps. You know, so I wouldn’t bulk up on one side and not the other – ha ha ha.
I am happy to report though, that this evening Mr. OverKill needed a few things from Wally World, so I broke down and bought another 5 pound weight. Of course my new weight is purple and has octagon shaped ends…whatever. It’s not like I’m going out in public with my mismatched weights.
Now, aren’t you glad you stopped by today? I know, it’s scary in Frazzled Mama Land :)
