MAKEOVER! No wait, maybe it’s actually going to be discipline. I think I like makeover better :) Discipline sounds way too much like work. A makeover sounds fun!
The fog that has surrounded my brain due to illness is beginning to lift. I think I might actually be able to see the light a the end of the tunnel. Sadly, going through this tunnel has wiped me out physically. Now, I wasn’t going to go run a marathon or anything before my health took a dump. But I used to be able to sing all the way through our worship time at church without getting winded. I mean really! It’s never been that bad.
So, that is one area that is going to require some discipline on my part, a physical makeover.
Another part of our life that needs a makeover is our finances.
Let me just say again how blessed we have been this year! The Lord has taken care of us in, sometimes, miraculous ways. But I will be honest and say that I have been on cruise control for the last year or so where finances are concerned. Not a good thing.
I have found that I need some inspiration at times to get motivated to work on our finances. Motivation was sent to us earlier this year by Mr. OverKill’s aunt and uncle. It looked like this…
This book is a great motivator! I have read through the whole book, and we are actually already on baby step 2 and should finish that one up in 6 months or less.
I wish there were some baby steps laid out for getting back in shape!
Hmmm…maybe I could write some…hmmmm
My makeover didn’t go so well this afternoon. :( :)
No problem, it’s not the new year yet ;)
Ole Dave is pretty Awesome! He has a 3 hour show on AM radio every day which is pretty cool.
I listen for a few minutes going home and back to work at lunch.
Keep doing it a little at a time. Gosh, we wish we were closer…maybe one day!!
