Somewhere long ago and far away, I was a “real” teacher. I do have a teaching certificate, heck I even have a master’s degree (thanks Mom and Dad!). So, somewhere along the way I saw this idea to help kids remember conversions for liquid measurement. I made one with my oldest when he was in the first grade, and today was Sugarbell’s turn. She did an excellent job!
Why can’t kids just sit like a normal person? Yeah, I know my house looks a wreck, laundry on the couch and the never ending pile of junk that ends up mysteriously on the dog kennel….
Why yes, that is a picture of the kiddos and I with Matthew West! Thanks for asking!
Ok, so here is the finished measure man, sorry measure girl (shesh). I thought she did a great job.
My stubborn nefew was over again yesterday and he wanted to make a measure man. Well, his kind of looks like a measure monster, but I thought it was cool!
Later, I found the boys playing Star Wars, and this guy was Darth Vader. What you don’t see the resemblance??????
If you want directions for this, too bad!
Just kidding, follow this link. Happy measuring!
I like Measure Monster, nice and original not your ordinary.
Please welcome the mother of the Measure Monster maker! Love ya sis!
Well said.
