I had to go back to the doctor’s office yesterday to have some bloodwork done. I figured it would be no big deal, I would just take the kiddos with me. I have done this before without any problem, so off we went. Now, I have to say that my kiddos did an excellent job, behavior-wise. We had a slight problem when we went into the room where they draw the blood.
First of all, my little experimenter (aka the Yard Man) was in hog heaven seeing all the test tubes and various machines they have in a lab. So, I arranged the kiddos around the room, in a strategic way, so they would be out of the way, and wouldn’t be able to see me having my blood drawn. Now, this is where homeschooling gets me in trouble every time. My ever-curious kiddos want to watch! Ok, fine watch! Watch them torture your mother (I didn’t really say that). They were all fascinated, well all except this guy…
He started crying and wouldn’t stop. He was so worried about me! She finally finished up and I am trying to reassure him that I am fine. No dice! I pick him up, no dice! We get out to the van, he is still crying. Poor guy. I prefer to see him like this, you know cheesin’ it up!
Finally I got him to stop crying! And by what Mother Superpower do you think I was able to accomplish such a feat?
And no, I am not being paid for this endorsement. My kids just like Go Fish that much!
