Last year, I took advantage of a great deal with Snapfish.com and made simple photo book of a trip we took as a family to the beach. It was one of those deals where all I had to pay was the shipping, so I figured I would give it a shot.
The kiddos loved it. They thought it was really neat to see themselves in an actual book.
Let me pause here to say that before I had children, I liked to scrapbook. Sadly, once I had children, I never really started up again. My poor kiddos don’t even have baby books from me. They do however have nice books made by Nana, which is the closest thing they have to a baby book (all but Bubba so far!). Where was I going with that…oh right, I blog, so that has taken the place of scrapbooking for me. I am hoping to find a way to turn my blog into a photo book for my kiddos….one day…if I can find a service that works with self-hosted blogs… where was I going with that!?!?! Oh, right!
Back to your previously scheduled blog post….this year I decided to make each kid their own photo book, which show this year’s highlights. Now, I did get a deal because they were buy one get one free a couple weeks ago…and I failed to share that with you my beloved readers, and for that I am eternally sorry…. But, Snapfish does have some discounts going on now, and other similar sites may as well.
These photo books are great for kids, or family members, and really aren’t that expensive, some start at only $4.99! They also have the cutest “Picture Me” books, oh my! The options are almost endless. My Stubborn Nefew’s Mother made her guys books last year based on their interests. My Stubborn Nefew’s book was his artwork that she had scanned into the computer. For O she made scans of all of his inventions notebook…so cool!
They have different designs and themes, and each page has wonderful graphics!
Check them out!
