Ok, so errand day was a success! We started early an hit WalMart before they got crowded. Then, we ran in Bed, Bath & Beyond for a cute birthday card, I just had to get. We attempted to go to Books A Million, but they weren’t open yet, becasue the manager didn’t show up and unlock the building. Hmmm… So, we ran to the house and picked up a part of a birthday present that I needed a bit of help on. We took care of that, and then ran back to the house to put away the huge venison roast that we were given. Next, we took off to pick up Hubby’s sunglasses that were being repaired and dropped off some bread (to the repairer of the glasses). Back to Books A Million, which was finally opened. Then we flew down to Bubba’s guitar lesson only to find that the instructor forgot about his lesson and was unable to make it in. So, we carried on and went to the carwash, where I vacuumed and washed the van. Then, we went downtown and picked up some cousins who were coming over for the afternoon. Next on the list was Dollar Tree, then the Post Office, then Bealls Outlet for a return. By the time we made it to Publix, I was nearly DONE! We made it through Publix pretty quickly, and I even got to chat with the deaf bagger that works there. I was wearing one of my favorite t-shirts.
He thought it was a riot. We got home unloaded groceries and ate lunch. I think that was at about 1:00pm. I spent the rest of my afternoon in front of the computer working on a website for my mother’s volunteer project. Then a mad dash to clean the house, make bookmarks and now we are headed out for date night and the kiddos are staying with their grandparents. Yee Haw!!!! It’s date night, one night early!
Seems like EVERYTHING fell through the cracks this week — ahh it’s a new week next week!
Oh sorry! We seem to be having one of those weeks as well. We’ve had an odd virus making it’s rounds through the family, and then yesterday Sugar Belle cut her foot quite badly. It’s always something, isn’t it?
