Sunday afternoon I was beginning to feel a bit better (I’ve had the stomach portion of the flu). I was also dying to get out of the house. I have pretty much been cooped up at home and much of that time spent alone. Mr. OverKill had taken the kiddos to church and then to his parent’s for lunch. When he announced that he was going to take the kiddos to the Hammock, I said “Wait for me!” I felt up to sitting on a bench at the park. I also brought along my camera :)
What a ham!
What a sweetie!
The big kids wanted to ride their bikes from the paths over to the playground. So, Mr. OverKill rode with them while Little Man and I followed in the van. I noticed that Tootle Bug seemed to be outgrowing her bike. She was having to pedal like 50 times faster than the others just to keep up. So, when we got to the playground, we had her try out Sugar Belle’s bike. She didn’t want to give it back. She was like, “This is SO much easier and FASTER!”
So, then we wondered if Little Man was about ready to move up to a bike that was Tootle’s size. He wasn’t wanting to ride, and I have a feeling it was because he was having the same problem as Tootle. So, Mr. OverKill stuck Little Man on Tootle’s bike and before I could turn around, Dude was riding that bike, without training wheels!!!
And he’s off!
Good grief!
He wrecked a few times…
And in some interesting spots too…
Meanwhile, Bubba and Sugar Belle were having some fun with the fences…
Is he cool, or what?
Balance…
And the big finish…
What a great day to spend the afternoon. I was really beginning to miss my family. Hopefully, I will be back to normal soon!
