I know, I know all these posts about the boys, my poors girls. Whoever thought! When I was pregnant with my first child, Hubby and I decided to wait to find out the sex of the child. You see, WE were going to have the perfect birth experience, and have the whole “It’s a…” deal going on. But nnnoooooo! I digress. So, when I was pregnant with my first child, I was terrified to have a boy. Not sure quite why, but I was. And of course, that’s what I got. Now, I have 2 boys, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. I wouldn’t trade my girls for anything either mind you, but they tend to be a little dramatic and moody….but again, I digress.
Last week, I found a really good deal at Micheal’s on some blank comic books, so I picked up several. Now, I have 4 budding cartoonists at my house. This one in particular was quite cute….
Bless her heart, she wanted to draw a picture of her Daddy on the cover of her comic book. So, she pulled a chair up to the refridgerator and tried to copy a picture of him, holding a fish.
I thought it came out really well.
What cracks me up is that the caption for her comic book picture of her Dad says “Hey kids! I caught a fish!” Hmmm… love ya Honey!
Next she drew a picture of the 2 of them playing tennis together…
And last but not least, she drew a picture of me, sweating to death in the yard watering flowers….
Why does Dad get to have all the fun? Why?
