No, that’s not a typo. We have been thoroughly enjoying our Wii system, and now Nintendo has just added to our fun. A couple of weeks ago we got the new “game” Wii Fit. It is really an exercise program cleverly disguised as games. It is targeted for women about my age, but let me just tell you about the wonderful benefits of having a Wii Fit for your children, especially when you live in Florida. Right now, we haven’t even hit the peak temps in Florida yet and my children are already protesting outside play. Their only concession is if there is water involved, cool water, not lukewarm, not room temp. cool. Lately the cool water has come from our lovely new irrigation system. I just crank the sprinklers on and let them play. SSSooooo much easier than a swimming pool ya’ll.
Sorry, got off track. So, the Wii Fit has been a life saver I our house. The kids are getting some exercise and running off the insane amount of energy God blessed them with. I wonder why they get all the energy , but we still have to keep up with them……Another time when I think “Thanks a lot Eve!” So, here are my kiddos playing the Wii Fit. It’s pretty funny…..
Okay, here Kiddo is playing the “Step” game. It’s similar to a step aerobics. And yes, the other kiddo lives in dress up clothes.
This is a shot of the screen that they have to watch to play the “Step” game.
When you are out of step with the other Miis, you only get an “OK”, if you are in perfect step it lights up and says “Perfect”. This is pretty good exercise.
This Kiddo is playing a ski jump balance game. They are all trying to beat my high score (yeah right, like that will ever happen!)
Good form though! And yes, I do wash my children’s clothes, when they actually take them off for more than 2 seconds.
Even my Baby is trying to wipe me off the board….
Hmm, I might have to let him. Just look at that face!
Okay, I gotta say…I just love your blog!! Since we hardly ever talk anymore ;) I visit it often to keep up with you. And let me tell you…Your house looks awesome!! You and Eli are doing a wonderful job. The kitchen has instilled some serious coveting over here!! Take care, Lesley
I miss seeing you! Maybe over the suumer….
